A very succesful day today kennel watching the Per Ardua beagles. Huntsman Tim did his usual trick upon realising he was being followed and called his friends in Nottinghamshire Police. He must have been particularly gratified when 4 vehicles of coppers, including 2 armed response units, turned up. One officer (pictured above) was being particularly foul and said he didn't care about illegal hunting.
Tim made his escape whilst the police held us but we quickly found him again and unsure what to do, now his cunning plan had failed, he returned to kennels. Tim and his whipper in took the hounds for a quick walk behind the kennels, closely monitered by sabs before calling it a day.
As usual we wonder why the Per Ardua are so reluctant to unbox their beagles when sabs are present if they have nothing to hide. Could it be because it's almost impossible for hare packs to hunt within the law?
