Once we were certain they weren't going out we headed South to join our comrades from Northants Hunt Saboteurs and Beds & Bucks Hunt Sabs at the Fernie Hunt who had met in East Norton, Leicestershire.
We arrived just as the hunt were second horsing and our sabs quickly moved into the fields after them. With some decent tag teaming we then kept them on the move for the rest of the afternoon and were in the right place whenever they picked up the scent of a fox.
Some of the hunt support got increasingly aggro as the day wore on, threatening sabs and hurling abuse, culminating in one particularly unpleasant specimen getting arrested as the sun went down. We're uncertain what he was nicked for, either assault or being a massive twat, we'll let you know when we find out.
The hunt packed up soon after with their tales firmly between their legs and we headed home for some lovely donated vegan cheesecake.
